A hunter in his comfort zone awaiting wildlife to appear and become his target that he has been practicing so hard for.
“Even so, there was question of whether horizontal or vertical, and how small the figure could be in the image and still be seen.” (Freeman, 2013). My husband appears to be smaller and further away from the frame than he actually was which causes him to appear as a figure in a landscape. “One of the points of a two shot is that there’s a relationship between the subjects, and it’s often good to manage the composition so that the viewer’s eye moves back and forth between them– in other words, the shot is active rather than static.” (Freeman, 2013). I chose two shot because there is a relationship between a hunter and their shooting stand.

Proverbs 22:6 states, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it.” (King James Version Bible) I am a mother of three sons. As they grow it is my duty to fulfil my job in raising them the right way.

This photo was captured at my very first football game that I attended with my in laws. This game was an interesting and emotional game from start to finish. I wish I would’ve waited to capture the photo when there was actual movement.
Photographic elements of framing applied to this composition include a wide shot of the moment of the hiking of the football. “With any kind of motion, the actual moment is usually crucial, and it’s often measured in hundredths of a second.” (Freeman, 2013.)

These roses were a just because gift from my husband. Each rose represents the amount of years we have been married.
Photographic elements of framing applied to this composition include vertical framing. I feel as though the viewer would see that I am a family person and my family is everything to me. While caring for my family I also like to have some time to myself to enjoy things of my intrest.
This course so far has been challenging but has been worth it. Before this course I never knew the differences in the framing of photos, I just felt that if it looked good to me it is a great picture. From here on out I will consider the things that I have learned in this course while taking an eye catching photo.
Based on what you have learned in this course, write a 2- to 3-paragraph assessment of your success in conveying the theme and message or story through your photographic series. Include answers to the following questions:
Are there any elements of photography in your photographic series you would change? How might this change the perception of the viewer? How might this change the message or story of the photographic series?
What considerations did you make in respect to the process of your photographic series to influence the perception of the viewer?
How will the viewer benefit from your photographic series?
