Leadership is one of the essential aspects of life. My leadership philosophy depicts the kind of leadership that shows concern and cares for individuals in need. Some of the characteristics of a good leader include empathy and sympathy
that I believe is very important in leadership. My significant core values include integrity, accountability, diligence, perseverance, and discipline. As a leader, you
must possess these core values because one needs to hold a high level of integrity in their leadership, be accountable for your actions, be persistent in work, persevere hardships and finally be discipline. Discipline is crucial in leadership
because it earns public trust and confidence through discipline (Broome & Marshall, 2020). My score values correspond to my professional philosophies because my core values drive me in everything that I want to achieve. My vision is to be an exemplary leader in place of work which will be well known to be a resourceful individual to others, one who will be approachable and respected by others because of the dignity I hold. My mission statement is to provide quality and
effective and affordable services to coach and guide individuals on living a meaningful life. Concerning Clinton’s assessment, my profiles include responsibility, achiever, believer, developer, and consistency. I
am a very responsible person in my place of work and society at large. I like discharging my core duties to the latter. As a dreamer, I admire reaching my goals and achieving my objectives and goals because I consider myself a success. I believe in changing society through my ambitions and aspiration of building a better community. I like developing or creating innovative ideas that can bring change for suffering people in society. Consistency enables me to accomplish
my goals. Consistency is very vital to success because it breeds discipline and accountability. Some of the critical behaviors I would like to strengthen are empathy and advocacy. I desire to share the feelings of others, especially when in need so that I can be in a better place to handle my team well (Siakwa & Ninnoni, 2019). Every worker likes an empathetic leader because they will understand them when in need, especially when in need.
Strengthening my advocacy will increase my influence in making desired change in the organization and the community.
To strengthen empathy, I will talk to other people more and always make a point to start the conversation (Ratka, 2018). During conversation will be keen to study the body language of others and listen more, and then take necessary action of helping distressed persons. Through that, I believe I will be able to strengthen my empathetic behavior. To strengthen my advocate, I will define my goals and objectives first, identify my target audience and make necessary changes. I plan to achieve my vision by identifying my strengths and applying them to be a good leader, reflect on my values, evaluate how my skills can solve realworld scenarios, and implement them in a realworld scenario. For instance, we want to achieve a particular milestone in the organization, and I will take the lead and offer necessary guidance until we
reach success. References
