Term Paper II Outline First Draft Due: March 6, 2019 FINAL DRAFT DUE: March 13, 2019 For the purpose of this term paper you are to choose two educational systems from two different

countries and compare and contrast them.

Outline:

• Cover page: the template for this paper is posted on Moodle

• Abstract: a brief overview of the paper and its purpose (no more than 1 paragraph)

• 5-7-page body:

o Introduce, give a historical background of each educational system

o Go into details of each educational system individually

o Consider, what was the rationale for each system?

o Consider, who were the pioneers?

o Consider, were there key theorists who helped build the educational system?

o Consider, how does the system work? How are children adapting?

o Compare and contrast the education systems. How are they similar? How do

they differ?

o Give important facts, evidence, details

o Finally, what is your own interpretation of the educational systems? Give your

analysis and opinion.

• Conclusion: summary of your paper

• Reference Page: List your references using APA format

Requirements:

• Your paper must be typed into the template provided.

• Your paper must be 5 full pages in length.

• Your paper must be Times New Roman or Arial 12 font, double spaced.

• Check for grammatical errors, sentence-structure, punctuation etc.

• There are absolutely NO CONTRACTIONS allowed in your paper. Contractions

result in a full letter grade deduction.

• You must use a minimum of five sources

• You must use APA format, and include a reference page

• Your cover page, abstract, and reference page are not included in the three-page

requirement.

• You must submit your paper via email as a word document attachment. Your email must

have a subject, address recipient; Me (Hello Professor Gordon), a body (Attached is my

written assignment #1) and a signature (Sincerely, First and Last Name of You, the

student)
