Existing System Overview:

Cynthia has created a very simplistic website for her business currently everything is designated to a one page website, where she has a few links that allow clients to look at specific backdrops and make an inquire, she has a few pictures of past work and a create your own garland tool that allows you to pick 2 different colors for the garland to show Cynthia what idea you want. The website is powered by Shopify and she has her social media linked to the webpage as well. There is a payment tool setup but it will need to be updated to allow payments to go through because currently it only allows you to add certain back drops to the cart. Her current website has worked for her business for a few years however she mainly receives her clients from social media inquiries.

Existing System Problem:

The issue at hand with the current website is how simple the website is, this website shows the minimum of what Cynthia can do as a business, but it doesn't unlock the full potential. Houston We Have a Party a huge party planning business that offers a wide range of decorations, back drops, and event planning ideas, the website has the potential to earn more business with a more detailed webpage that allows clients to book parties, look at blogs, even watch the videos Cynthia has created on how to make your own balloon garlands. The website has a good framework but just needs to be more detailed so Cynthia can fully benefit from the options a detailed website can give her.

Solutions Proposed:

· Expand the website’s capabilities and incorporate a dynamic product catalog with different categories clients can select to suit their needs

· Introduction of a more dynamic balloon garland customizer that lets customers build garland patterns they would like Cynthia to create

· Adding more detailed inquiry tab that allows clients to select options for event details, preferred delivery date and time, delivery or pick up method, special request, and more

· Adding a client account tab where clients can review past orders and keep track of new items coming out
