Module 2: Phase 1

The organization that I want to do the research on is Walgreens. It is an American company that operates as the second-largest pharmacy store chain in the United States. It specializes in filling prescriptions, health and wellness products, health information, and photo services. I believe they use computer software to do the supply chain and also must be using a POS system. As of August 31, 2019, Walgreens operates approximately 9,277 drugstores with a presence in all 50 states and their main headquarters is located in Deerfield Illinois.
