Persuasive Essays

Select one of the papers/articles provided in this section. Based on the argument of the author, take a position and write persuasive essay (1000 +/- 10% words).

Before submitting your essays go to the Writing Center and work with a writing advisor. Make sure to get your essay stamped before submitting the hard copy. Please submit both copies: the one stamped by the Writing Center, and a second clean copy of your essay. If your stamped version is already clean, just submit this copy.

The essay would be graded 0 to 10. If you submit late your highest grade would be seven out of ten. The grade would be five out of ten points if the essay is submitted late and without the Writing Center’s stamp.
