B. How many of you have ever worked a job that made you feel that way? My first job was sacking groceries Crest Foods. There is nothing wrong with sacking groceries, and I know some people who loved it. For me, however, I knew I wanted something else in my life.

C. In a recent Gallup Poll, 70% of Americans either hate their jobs or are seriously disengaged.

Transition: While there are several factors involved in this high level of satisfaction, getting a college degree can help change the trajectory.

II. Completing your college degree can help you be more fulfilled in your career.

B. Today, his son makes good money working in an engineering firm, one of his daughters is a Physician’s Assistant, and his other daughter spends her day teaching children. All of them have rewarding careers that they chose.

Audience Analysis: Since this speech is being given to students at a Christian college, I am assuming the majority will be in favor of my position and that I need to motivate them to appreciate what they have.
