I am a Business Economics major freshman at the University of California, Irvine who always have a heart in the fashion industry. My foray into the fashion market has motivated me to apply for internship at Charles & Keith as an entry-level fashion merchandising trainee. I am very interested in exploring the marketing strategy and retail workflow in the fashion industry by incorporating my own knowledge of marketing weaving with business economics. I look forward to applying my leadership and communication skills in this internship opportunity. Last year as the president of my high school Business Club, I initiated events, organized students body, and impacted the fellow peers. As the starter of a newly established club, I was responsible for recruiting new members by delivering presentations in school assembly and using the power of social media. Throughout the process of broadcasting my own club, my ambition and curiosity in merchandising especially in the fashion field were provoked. Moreover, I am praised for the ability to address a positive conversation through my multicultural experiences. For my language proficiency, I am fluent in both Mandarin and English. (Awards of Nationwide Chinese Literature Speech honored by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan and IELTS Speaking score: 8 & TOEFL overall score: 96). Based on these experience, I had cultivated my leadership and communication skills on different occasions which makes me a qualified application for this internship as the position of fashion merchandising trainee. In this internship position, I am eager to broaden my horizon in fashion industry regarding the fashion trends, production, and merchandising process.
