Here is more information on the performance review process for 2017:

· Final reviews are due by Dec 19th.  With fiscal year end closing, we really need to have this completed in December.

· First, we need to select your 4 or 5 most significant for the goals for 2017.  Then, we need to prioritize them (from most important), weight the goal’s importance (the weights from all your goals would equal 100%), and provide timelines, objectives, and impacts.  If we take this one step at a time, it won’t be too hard.  Let’s start you and I independently compiling your 4-5 most significant goals (one should be a personal development goal) for our first review meeting.

· Then, you would do a “self-evaluation” of the goals, and I would do an evaluation of your goals.  We do this independently and share results at one of our later review meetings.

· In addition to the “review of goals” there are also other criteria in the review.  I have attached an outline (see “Review Items” and “MA Core Values”).  You can also see this information on your Paylocity webpage under “Talent”.  Again, each of us would write a few things independently about each of criteria, too, and compare notes at a later meeting.

· The last part, is formulating your 2018 goals.  These will be the most significant 4-5 things you will be working on in 2018 (including one personal development goal).  Again, we need to establish priorities, weights, timelines, objectives, and impacts.  We will compile a first draft of your 2018 goals at our first review meeting, too.

I will look at our schedules and set up a few meetings to focus on this annual review process.  THANKS for all your contributions and all you have learned in your first few months with MA!
