The two most important processes within an organization are recruitment and retention of employees.  According to this week reading article “Recruitment is defined as a process that provides the organization with a pool of qualified job candidates from which to choose.”  While retention mean a way of keeping an employee after they got hired for a position. when it comes to an organization, it is very important to know how many people the organization will need to hired based on their financial budgets in order to be successful. The main reason the recruitment process is very important is because if an organization need to very productive, they have to select the correct candidate for the correct position. however, if the employer does not motivate their employees  by providing them with the correct tools to get the job done, it can be very hard to retaining these employees after they got hired. Losing employees that are key essential to an organization can slow down the production of the organization which can hurt the organization financially. That is why during the hiring process, it is very important for the HR and the hiring manager to coordinate with each other to come with a plan that will help keep the employees after they have been hired. An organization that will invest in their employees in order to make them feel more welcome and comfortable at the workplace is very important. An organization that have majority of their employees are Hispanic should recompensate the employees by celebrate some of their favorite Hispanic holidays such Cinco de mayo, or other popular holidays. A small gesture like that will help bring more employees that will willing to work due to the fact that they know their employer understand the importance of their cultures. This is why culturalism within a organization is very important. Many employers are looking for employees with great resume, which they believe a strong resume will give their candidate a better chance to secure a position within their organization. however, it is not always the case when it comes to hiring. Many organization will not hiring someone who barely meet the requirement of the position which they applied for. However, some of those candidate can be the best for an organization than the one with a great resume. The reason for that is some employees with less qualification for a position within a job will work harder just to prove that they deserve the position which they are in than an employee who have a great resume.

Recruitment is very important in a company. You have to hire good workers that do their job and are reliable. Also, there are a lot of legal things in places when it comes to recruiting employees. You should have a systematic process set in place for every candidate that way no one can say they were discriminated against. Employers are not allowed to discriminate based on age, gender, race, or disabilities. Also, it is a good idea to keep interview questions professional and avoid personal questions to prevent misconceptions. Retention is also very important in a company. You should aim to keep a low turnover rate, this shows people that the company is a good one to work for. "When your work environment is essentially a revolving door, it’s virtually impossible for your organization to maintain any momentum. Instead of focusing on the larger goals, managers are forced to retrain new employees constantly, as well as keep their other workers engaged" (The Importance of Employee Retention, Explained 8 Ways). "Good Fit" candidates that meet minimum requirements would be someone who has a good background and meets some of the preferred talents for the job but not all. Basically, they could do the job but maybe not as well as someone that has all of the company's preferred talents. A candidate with a "great resume" yet is not a "good fit" would be that they have a great history with previous jobs and can do many things but they lack the preferred talents to do this particular job.
