Fitness Project
We all know that regular Physical Activity (PA) improves physical fitness and contributes to high-quality life. It contributes to longer life (lifespan) free of preventable diseases and injuries. PA is also one of the significant contributors to disease/ illness treatment. This assignment is aimed to provide students the knowledge and skills that will allow them to make informed decisions about healthy lifestyle choices, physical wellness, and physical fitness development. Students will learn few well known and beneficial body weight exercises in which multiple muscle groups are used. These exercises can be done in the comfort of their own home as well as in the gym.
Students will be divided into groups of 5 or 6 people depending on the total number of students in each class. There is one written submission and one practical session for this assignment with different deadline dates.
Submission: Written report
Due date: 3rd November 2019 (Mid night)
Written report should include all of the following things:
Cover Page: Course name, Student names, Student ID, Section number, Group number, Instructor name.
Each student is required to choose and answer one question from the following list of questions. However, all group members need to submit as a group (one word document) on BB
Questions
1. What are the limitations of this exercise? How to overcome these limitations?
2. What are different variations of this exercise? Explain the benefits of each variation.
3. Explain proper form of this exercise. What muscles and joints are being used in this exercise?
4. Name five common mistakes people make while performing this exercise.
5. Explain when and how you will use the principle of progression in this exercise?
6. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this exercise?
Make sure punctuation, spelling and capitalization are correct. Write this report in your own words.

· Warm up
· Exercise (given to the group)
· Cool down
· Stretch
You will be assessed on proper form, proper use of the principles of progression and workout intensity (whether the exercise is too hard or too easy for you).

Written: Each student from the group will answer ONE question and they will be marked INDIVIDUALLY. Practical: Group work Each group will have to research to find a warm up routine and cool down stretches for the exercise specifically given to them. Each group will demonstrate the following steps of the given exercise:
