I. Introduction
A. The scientific name of my technology is CoronaApp. The name originates from coronavirus which for the past year has been declared as a pandemic.
B. My technology does not have common name, but as the name suggest, it is common to most people. The names might vary depending on the countries for instance, in Czech Republic it is called eRouska, StopCovid, GH Covid-19 Tracker App among other names (Lauer et al., 2020).
C. The interest with this technology for me is the invasion of privacy that may play a factor. The application also enables individual to know whether they have covid by checking the body temperature. It also acts as reminder to adhere to the respective guideline for the health concern (Lauer et al., 2020).
I. Body
A. Technology is a way for scientific knowledge to be complied into one space and accessible quickly.
B. This technology was developed in 2020 immediately after Covid-19 was declared a pandemic. There were several studies which resulted to the cooperation of various icons in the application. For instance, temperature, literature of what Covid is and others.
C. The application can be installed in iOS and android phones. The application can access information of your phone with permission. It also can use GPS in transmitting signals to the main server.
D. The technology is applicable by everyone but hosted by the ministry of Health.
a. The functionality of the technology is simple just like any other mobile application. The application can able to receive and send signals upon which the users can operate without any special assistance (Xiu et al., 2017).
b. For the technology to be effective, the advancement of the technology requires the impact of other scientists. For instance, measuring of temperature which require the knowledge of the thermite.
c. One thing that is mandatory for this application to work correctly is the location feature on cell phones.
d. The future of this technology will be modified not only in measuring the symptoms of the Covid but be able to analyses results.
From literature it takes 24hours for one to receive the results. This can be reduced through rapid advancement of the technology to reduce the amount of time to get results (Lauer et al., 2020).
The technology should be revolutionized in a manner whereby one does not need to go in a health facility to get tested before knowing their status.
I. Conclusion
A. The Corona Application technology will be a milestone when comes to eradicating coronavirus pandemic.
B. It will be able to reduce positive cases being reported every day.
C. Additionally, through the study of how the virus behaves, it can lead to successful invasion of potential vaccine.
