Of course you can’t talk about the mission of Caring Hospices services without bringing up the hospice philosophy itself. The hospice philosophy is quite simple, it states that “individuals with life limiting medical conditions should be made as comfortable as possible and enjoy maximum quality of life, physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.” (www.caringhospice.com, n.d.).

The Program Rational of Caring Hospice Services

The reason or rational for a program such as hospice is that they provide individualized care to patients, providing care plans for each patient. Showing respect, the individuality of each patient by respecting the patient’s beliefs, traditions and approaches. Partnering with the patient’s family and providing grief counselling.
