PART 7 RESPONSE
Tyreik Leary
The two articles both discuss Agile retrospectives. They provide information about the purpose and structure of an Agile retrospective, as well as tips for running them. One of the main similarities between the two articles is that they both discuss the importance of an Agile retrospective and the value it can bring to a team (Cohn, n.d.). They also emphasize the importance of facilitating the retrospective in a way that encourages open communication, and both provide tips on how to do this. One of the main differences between the two articles is the level of detail. The first article, written by Mike Cohn, provides more in-depth information and details the structure and goals of an Agile retrospective (Francino & Denman, 2021) . The second article provides more general information about the retrospective and does not go into as much detail. In terms of which article is more valuable to me going forward as an Agile practitioner, the first article by Mike Cohn is more valuable because it provides more detailed information about Agile retrospectives. This information is very useful for someone who is new to Agile or who wants to understand

CASSANDRA
Both articles provide some valuable information on sprint retrospective. Both articles agree that there should be some sort of meeting at the end of the sprint to go over what has happened, what should change moving forward, and to iron out any remaining issues. Besides that, both seem to be fairly different as far as how the meetings should be carried out. Yvette Francino and James Denman, authors of What is an Agile retrospective? had a more detailed approach to their writing, carefully laying out the framework that should be followed by the meeting to hit any and all major points of the sprint. The authors who wrote the piece with Mountain Goat Software came from a more lax approach, using a start-stop-continue meeting approach (n.d.). It was not as detailed or thorough as the other article, and left out a lot of valuable information that could be used as an Agile practitioner. For this reason, I believe the first article What is an Agile retrospective? holds more weight and is more of value to any Agile practitioner.

MARK
Agile project management is a series of dynamic methods to initiate and complete a project. One the most significant aspects of agile project managements is that throughout the scope of the entire project. The given tasks are completed with the ability to change procedures and protocols throughout the duration of the project. There are two facets that assist the project team to review how the procedures can be developed create future process improvements. Sprint and Agile retrospectives, are two approaches to improve projects. The main similarity between the two are that both incorporate the team’s collective agreements for changes “… team reflects on what happened in the iteration and identifies actions for improvement going forward” (Francino, 2021). One difference between the two, is that during sprint retrospect ideas are vocalized during brainstorming, “…everyone to just shout out ideas during the scrum”. (Cohen, 2022). Both techniques have advantages, however the agile retrospective seems to be a more effective approach.
