Rigorous curriculum. (ELCC 2.1, 2.2, 2.3). To implement a coordinated, aligned, and articulated curriculum, (ELCC 2.1, a) create at least 5 assessments that assess all skills, knowledge, types of reasoning, products, and dispositions targets included in the standard/s. To facilitate the use of appropriate content-based learning materials and strategies (ELCC2.1 e) include in part 3 five assessments that include all assessment methods discussed in class and explained in the book: selected response, written response, performance assessment, personal communication. Ensure personalized learning opportunities, incorporate cultural competence in the development of curriculum (ELCC2.1 c), and design differentiated instructional strategies, curriculum material, and technology (ELCC 2.3.b), by creating assessments that give opportunity to demonstrate learning to a diverse student population, are culturally relevant (ELCC 2.2 b, 2.2.c), integrate technology, and promote metacognition. To promote trust, equity, and fairness, create an analytic rubric for either the written response of the performance assessment (2.2e). For each assessment include one or two paragraphs explaining how the assessment promotes metacognition, is culturally relevant, and integrates technology.
