Final Project. Part 2

For part 2 is to talk about trauma with these minors, it should be of unaccompanied migrant minor s, not refugees, focus on El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala. Minors from Mexico it’s rare that they crossed the border and get the chance to stay unless they have a credible fear and can file for asylum

Part 2 should be about:

1. Trauma in their country of origin due to poverty,

2. Parent abandonment,

3. Lack of education,

4. Physical and sexual abuse,

5. Threats from gang members to them and the family

6. Tragic death of any family member or crime in the community,

7. Trauma during journey

8. Separation from parents due to migration to US and also separation at the border
