Seattle housing, graphs and table, statistic
At this point, you should have created the basic statistical tables to be utilized in your final Memo #1. Now you will do the actual analysis, which will take the following form.
You are a real estate analyst, writing a memo to your clients about changes in the Seattle housing market between 2000 and the present. You will utilize the tables and graphs generated for the first part of the assignment (incorporating my feedback where it is necessary).
Begin the memo with a brief section that provides relevant background information and engages the readers' interest. Include a discussion of the data including the overall sample size, the sample size for each year, the sampling method, the sampled population, and the time frame.
Then provide at least two paragraphs analyzing the current housing market (2000 to present) as well as changes from year to year. While the focus is on statistics pertaining price and price per square foot, you may also choose to explore how house sale price varies as a function of other attributes of the home.
In addition to the table generated for the first part of the assignment, present one or two illustrative figure(s) or graph(s) showing changes in median price and median price per square foot over time. Provide a brief but interesting discussion of the numerical descriptive statistics as well as the figure(s)/graph(s). Which descriptive statistics are best used to describe this data (in other words, why do we use the median)?
Provide a brief section at the end of your report discussing any limitations on your findings.
Assume that your audience is familiar with the following terminology: mean, median, standard deviation, minimum, maximum, range, and sample.
Limit the report to a maximum of 2single-spaced pages, which includes the graphs and tables that you have created. 1" margins and 12 point font, please.
