I. Introduction
1. The research paper shall the question: “How does Walmart achieve success?”. This question is imperative as it gives a basis for a variety of content that shall provide clear comprehension of Walmart’s success. The introduction section shall cover Walmart’s history. It shall be possible to explain how Wal-Mart had been successful for all years it has been in operation. Since the common notion of Walmart is “everyday low prices”, the introduction section shall explain how that practice has enabled Walmart to stay relevant regardless of the numerous retail companies incorporated.
2. The research paper shall use the background information of Walmart to formulate a thesis statement that would guide the structure of the entire paper. It shall be possible to find numerous sources surrounding team development at Walmart. Synthesis of content from the papers shall explain why Walmart’s relevance has never dwindled based on its focus on the workforce.
II. Walmart’s winning model
1. This section shall discuss how Walmart had maintained its ability to provide customers with low prices. The status of Walmart as an economic influencer and is worth studying to determine how its procedures have been maintained regardless of environmental changes. Team development as the research paper’s main topic shall get studied in this section since Walmart employs “1.5 million” persons (Hyde, 2019). The team structure is worth studying since it determines how each team member contributes to Walmart’s success.
2. The fact that Walmart focuses on keeping prices low results in the need to study whether it has stayed true to its vision and how the products offered are of standard quality. The majority of Walmart’s customers get to save a lot cash as a result of the fortune 1000 company’s model. This section of the research paper shall detail the exact techniques applied to maintain its customer base.
III. Impact of cost minimization on employees
1. This section shall research how Walmart’s cost reduction affects its capability to pay employees standard wages. Since the goods sold at Walmart are similar to goods from other retail chains, it is imperative to find a connection between this factor and the status of profitability.
2. The low costs have a connection with Walmart’s capability to provide employees with other benefits. Walmart keeps its overhead costs low, but it is imperative to determine how this affects their capability to keep prices low and to provide employees this effective healthcare plans. This section shall find a connection between these factors and determine why Walmart has been controversial in the amount of money it pays its employees.
IV. Limitations of team development
1. There have been controversies surrounding Walmart’s labor costs, the main issue is that Walmart limits its labor costs so that they can maintain profitability (Page, 2020). The fact that Walmart is the “third largest employer in the world” results in the need to determine how team development is enhanced. This section shall contain thorough research that discusses how Walmart’s operations with its numerous employees have not dwindled.
2. The common standards of team development shall be compared to Walmart to determine how the company enhances collaboration. This section shall further discuss how technology adoption promoted productivity at Walmart.
V. Conclusion
The research topic chosen is effective since it focuses on the fortune 1000 company, Walmart, and how its operations have never gotten affected by environmental conditions. The research paper shall be effective since it shall contain critical synthesis of the underlying factors of Walmart’s team structure. It shall be possible to apply the knowledge gained in promoting knowledge that is applicable in a professional setting.
