Notes: I selected this academic resource team because it will serve as a good resource for me in accumulating the knowledge needed to better my writing skills. They will assist my success in the MSN program and as an advance practice nurse by instructing me on the writing process, from the beginning to the end of my writing. They can provide me with personalized writing assistance, online writing resources, free tutorial services on APA style, grammar, and more (Walden University, n.d.) They are available to render me with one-on-one discussions on course papers and give suggestions for more writing guides and resources.

Why I selected this individual and/or team and how they will support my success in the MSN program and as a practicing nurse:
Notes: I selected Dr. Festus Uzokwe to be my clinical preceptor for the practicum aspect of the program because of his experience and knowledge in precepting other students in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program. He is a psychiatric consultant at Sun Behavioral Hospital and director at CUFA
Behavioral Health Clinic Houston Texas. I have known him for five years and he has been precepting students from Walden University. He is highly devoted in guiding his students and always facilitates the application of theory to practice for students and staff learners. His dedication in bringing out the best in the student will help me to meet the course learning objectives and acquiring new competencies required for safe, ethical, and quality practice.

Notes I selected Ms. Kiara Smith to be my mentor because of her knowledge and experience in mentorship and in psychiatric mental health practice. She is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Sun Behavioral Hospital where I have known her for three years. She is always ready to spend her time in answering questions and explaining things to make sure that one understands it. She is always ready to as provide guidance, motivation, emotional support, and role modeling. She is ready to go extra miles in helping one to explore careers, set goals, develop contacts, and identify resources that will enable one to achieve his academic and professional goals.
