Part 1: Writing Identity Two Ways

Literature writers often face different scenarios in which they must explain themselves. The ideas in which they present in their literary works might be too fascinating to be ignored and the audience might require the originality of the ideas. These are instances that most of the writers would not like to answer remains very critical. This is like asking a doctor where they get their knowledge and determine the exact drug that would heal specific diseases. Similarly, one might also wonder how interesting is to work as a mortician. In this regard, I found myself in a situation that I must explain how I get my ideas and some of the events that often made my life easier as a writer.

My literary works have developed tremendously over the years due to the practices and the lifestyle that I lead as a writer. I gain ideas to write on various issues in society through observation of what takes place. The prevailing issues in society always present a better opportunity for me to generate ideas and put them into writing. For instance, whenever I attended political rallies especially know that the US is in political modes I am always observant of what takes place, the nature of competition, the right and wrong measures that might be employed to get the desired results (Where I write #9: A cabin on the Lakefront.", Gay). Therefore, from listening speeches, observing body language, audience turnouts, and responses between the audience and the speakers always provide me an opportunity to reflect and predict the most likely outcome of the elections.

Similarly, when attending environmental rallies and reflecting on what’s taking place in the world I come up with ideas that help me in writing good articles. For instance, with the COVID-19 outbreak, most of the companies and factories were closed or operated half the level of operation hence reducing the level of gases released into the atmosphere. As a result of this adjustment, there have been significant improvements in the quality air in various cities across the world. Therefore, through such observations, analytical studies and scientific review of the data collected I formulate ideas that when presented to my audiences help them understand better the issues taking place in the world, and why they are good or bad depending on the prevailing situation.

There are numerous lessons to be learned from my writing style of identity. I identified a niche and perfected in it to ensure that the society has a third-angle view of the issues taking place in society. This is the initial lesson that any of my audience must acquire; the ability to think both outside and inside the box. Secondly, I also provide an opportunity for the audience to have a better understanding of the issues taking place. This makes it easier in decision making and overall achieving the desired goals in society.

Besides that, I am also an example and mentor to many of the literature writers. I believe that some are going to emulate my work and perfect it. This is because my history in literature entails making use of what we have as a society. The ideas get generated by asking myself simple questions such as what if? only if…? And I wonder…These provide an avenue for me to think ad formulate ideas that can affect any person in society. Therefore, with the society never lacking issues taking place I believe that there are so many people that will look into my work and follow into my footsteps (Where do you get your ideas?", Gaiman).

Finally, my ideas are unique thus making the stories also unique. This is because I observe, analyze, reflect, and then predict what’s likely to take place. The end product of my work provides an opportunity for the audience to seek answers and solutions for the issue at hand. In some cases, the write up usually contains some opinions and measures that I believe are the best in managing the issues at hand. Therefore, I believe that my works are unique and worthy of being emulated.

Part2: Newspaper Article on Literacy in America

Literature works play vital roles in enlightening the society. American society is one of the societies that developed over the years due to access to various literary works. The resources have made it easier for these people to always make the right decisions in their lives. It said that indeed knowledge is power and that’s why the US is ranked as number one globally in various fronts. Researchers and authors have often made it easier for the natives to make the right decisions based on what they right and present to the public.

Similarly, my literary work provides a picture of the changes taking place in society. The world is changing in different issues and its right that appropriate decisions are made to ensure that the desired goals are achieved. In this regard, the world seems to be healing itself through the COVID-19 pandemic. As most of the people seemed to get into lockdown with little activities leading to pollution of the environment, the mother nature seemed to be taking over the world by rejuvenating itself. The level of gases emitted in the atmosphere has reduced hence providing an opportunity for the nature to refresh and clean air is circulated ("Where I write #9: A cabin on the Lakefront, Gay).

Besides that, the public has also gained a lot of insight into the right leaders they will pick from the contestants. The need to make the right decisions makes it vital that there is the analysis of the forums, their speeches, scorecards in their initial positions they held, reputations in society, and the ability to meet the expectations of the electorates ("Where do you get your ideas?", Gaiman). The public must analyze all these factors and make the right decision that would result in making the nation a better place than it is the current state.
