Parent Letter #1

Dear Bright Future Educators,

This letter is to inform you that my son, Eric Beck, is highly sensitive to gluten products. Although we don’t have a doctor’s note, we are currently working on getting more testing done. The first tests did not show a gluten intolerance, however we notice an extreme change in his behavior after her consumes gluten. After he eats gluten, he is typically slower to react, his vocabulary isn’t as strong, and he is more moody. Because of this, we have removed all gluten from his diet and hope this can be accommodated for the classroom.

Parent Letter #2

Dear Bright Futures Teacher,

My child, Evan Richards, has been getting home from school very hungry and I think it might be the food you’re providing. I wanted to give you a better idea of the types of food that he likes and dislikes to help you make your menu. Evan’s favorite foods are mac n cheese, hot dogs, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. He strongly dislikes carrots, broccoli, beans, and most vegetables. I hope this helps you make your menu selections and hopefully he begins eating lunch at school.

Parent Letter #3

Hello,

This letter is to inform you that my child, Sasha Flen, is being raised in a vegan home. I understand that I pay for food with my tuition, so as my right, I would like more vegan options for her. Being vegan means Sasha can’t eat anything that has animal byproduct in it, such as cheese, eggs, meat, milk, honey, etc. However, we do allow her to eat alternatives such as soy yogurt and pasta made without eggs.

If you need more information or suggestions, I am happy to help you brainstorm.

Dear Bright Futures School District Administrators, School Nurses and Teachers,

This letter is in regards to John Rodriguez, a student of yours that is extremely allergic to nuts. John's life-threatening nut allergy needs to be understood by the above listed parties to ensure his safety at school.

Due to John's high sensitivity to peanuts, every reaction, no matter how minor, should be treated immediately with the attached medical instructions. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact my office.

Dear Bright Future Teachers and Administrators,

My daughter, Janelle Grey, is a new student within your program. I am writing to you with a special request that I hope you are able to accommodate. Because of our culture, we have specific dietary laws that we must adhere to. One of the main restrictions is pork. Since food is included in the price of tuition, I am hoping this request can be accommodated. I am happy to cover the price difference. Additionally, I can provide extra details if that would help. I hope you understand and we can work together to solve this issue.
