Abstract Writing 101

For your abstract, be sure to introduce your topic and what your paper will discuss based on your group’s readings (annotated bib assignment) and why this topic is important to research. (150 words)

Paper Outline – do not just “copy and paste” the outline given in the DEP guidelines. Your outline should be reflective of the research you have done to date (annotated bib, data mining etc). So the content of your outline is informed by what major topics you are found in the literature.

Ex: DEP on Obesity (have only showed you part I, do this for all parts of the DEP)

Part I: Overview of Selected Health Problem
