Assignment 2 Women in leadership –Research paper

You have already chosen and conducted some secondary research (assignment 1) :

1. Your leader - woman (alive) and from the MENA region/your home country.  

2. A topic of leadership which traits serve female leaders best in a male-dominant profession? Answer is through framing and connecting.

-talk about Lubna Alolayan background , the daughter of the founder, married to an american, what she achieved and ranked in forbes or so,

-defining framing from the centered leadership model, which is about how you see things. Lubna Alolayan finds saudi men supportive of saudi women although it is not true in reality. So her view is positive about them hence her quote. Also important to mention my reference in the annotated bibliography about her breaking gender barriers.

-Then I will be talking about connecting , how she connects with men as she is good at it also refer to centered leadership model. So her relationship with men and women is strong in a conservative society, she has many relationships with men and works directly with them.

For this research paper, you will also conduct primary research on the topic / leader. Your research paper is to study the leader and topic of leadership within the Centered Leadership Model.

Include the following sections: 

1. Research Question    Define a ‘how’ or ‘why’ research question to be answered.

2. Introduction (short)

Give direction to your reader about your study- leader and the topic

3. Secondary research

Explain your knowledge of the topic - from your reading

4. Findings and discussion (Main part)

Analyze the findings about your leader and topic from secondary research you have conducted. Discuss this with regards to the Centered Leadership Model (Barsch & Cranston, 2009).

5. Conclusion

A brief review of the research paper.

References A full list following APA format.  At least four quality sources (e.g. from annotated bibliography) and more.

Word length 850-1000 words (excluding reference list)

Evaluated on above criteria, and writing and critical analysis rubric.
