a. Introduce how IoT has penetrated the market

b. Research 2 – 3 IoT security breaches

i. Present the history of the attacks and affected devices

ii. Talk about how they could have been prevented

iii. Discuss any reputation loss or business loss by the company(s) of these hacks

c. Present the security outlook for these company(s) or for IoT as a whole

2. Which browser is more secure?

a. Compare 3 modern browsers with available research data.  

b. Present studies that have compared the browsers or aspects of the browsers in a literature review.

c. Make your recommendation after comparing (a minimal of 5 previous pieces of research).

3. Lessons learned from the Mirai Botnet attack of 2016

a. Research the history of the attack and those responsible.

b. What did this exploit?

c. Why was it so much more effective than previous BotNet designs?

d. What kind of mitigations would you recommend for protection?
