Purpose

· Develop an incident response plan.

Overview

After discovery of a cybersecurity incident, organizations can either attempt to contain the incident or shut down operations completely. Each approach has strengths and drawbacks.

 

Create the Respond Section

For this assignment, create the Respond section of your report. This section addresses the following:

· Event analysis and escalation

· Containment, eradication, and recovery

Respond Section Requirements

Include the following:

· Assume that there was no incident response plan for the problem you identified in Part 3. Devise an incident response plan.

· Provide the details of incident response actions that have been performed according to the plan.
