“Fifty percentage of teens feel addicted to their cell phone,” Source: Common Sense Media showed on CBS news on July 3, 2017. The twenty-first century is characterized by space exploration, climate change, technology, and social network. These result of social network and technology is social media, a product that connects people in a blink of an eye. As part as a necessity to be connected to the word cell phones are a must on everyone pocket (specially smartphones). Social media and has revolutionized millennials’ life by followers and likes. Millennials is a generation conformed by people born from early 1980s to early 2000s, and they prefer to record a moment than live it. Because of the excess of technology millennials have developed health, mental and interpersonal issues.

Bad posture, sedentary, and obesity are three of many problems that this generation are dealing with. Bad posture is generated by the excess of looking down to the phone and bad sitting habits. Muscle strain, stiffness and nerve compression are some of the health effects of the excessive use of technology. Mentally effects are translated into low self-confidence and high levels of stress.
