Significant Ethical Issue#1

This worksheet is designed to help you get started on Paper #1. 1. Identify 1 major ethical issue in your field that you would like to analyze (the area you intend to work in upon graduation)? Make sure it is a controversial topic and/or there is an ethical dilemma involved. Please describe briefly.

Professional responsibilities may conflict with company requirements. For example, when the company assigns specific work tasks and offers generous rewards, the sales staff may promote high-risk fund investments to the elderly or those who do not know how to obtain satisfactory performance. But this is not a requirement of the company. A selfish salesperson will respond to the company's reward request by choosing the one that has the highest return for them.

2. Whose rights, needs, desires, views are being represented in the current debate of this issue?

To meet the needs of sales staff and meet their performance of the company's desire to reward. It damages the interests and rights of investors and damages the company's reputation.
