History: severe anoxic brain injury as an infant after co-sleeping with his father. Static encephalopathy with a seizure disorder well controlled by Keppra. He has a feeding gastrostomy tube and a tracheostomy. Spasticity is partially ameliorated by medications but a trial of botox injections did not result in improvement. Assessed by orthopedic surgery who deemed him not a candidate for baclofen bump. He has had fractures due to rigidity and severe osteopenia, occasionally needs mechanical ventilation support.
