Re:Topic 3 DQ 2
This method of solving problems helps to ensure that the correct problem is being addressed in the most efficient manner. One dilemma that I faced during the beginning of my volunteer opportunity was learning how to navigate the family history site and linking church information to the account. This issue could have been resolved with the Ideal problem solving process by identifying and define what the true problem was. In this case the problem was that I was not familiar with how to navigate the website. From that point I needed to explore strategies to my problem. For this circumstance I could have utilized an online search engine to seek guidance, I also could have contacted a more tenured volunteer, or I can learn on my own by navigating through the site. Next I would need to act on the ideas, in this case I was able to gain the assistance of a tenured volunteer. This helped produce results, and teach me how to better assist others with their problems.
