Re:Topic 2 DQ 2
Good morning Class and Professor,
Though I spend 6 out of the 7 days of the week on location here, for a magnitude of various things including my volunteer hours, I think the most important thing that I am learning from the study that I have completed through Psychology, is my ability to communicate with people, problem solve in a manner that utilizes much of the learning that I have done. Then comes the aspect of realizing just how much I have learned before had I been in this type of position a couple years ago, I would not have been as strong as I feel now regarding problem solving, and figuring out how to fix something that needs to be fixed. The theory based on theater being a difficult position to be placed into, but the most rewarding is something that I have learned many years ago, and this love had grown ever since. Throughout my research process of working towards a better understanding pertaining to ADHD and various other emotional/mental disorders that are placed within the world today allows me to transfer this information into the work that I am doing in the theater world. Many professional actors tend to have confused feelings, and need someone to be there for them at all times. This is when the tired level of things because more common in the world of a producer and director. However, so rewarding because of the help that one is able to do. Plenty of knowledge can be gained and utilized from the volunteer work, and other work that I am doing within the theater world, it’s so important. Stressful, maybe, but well worth all of that.
Have an amazing day!
