Overview and Structure of the Business
Mission Statement [Add 100 words]
The business mission statement that follows its slogan is "delivering of Information Technology services and products including education and training to all people regardless of their locations." In other words, the business is committed to ensuring products and services and skills and knowledge related to Information Technology are delivered to all regions, especially in underserved areas where many youths cannot access the opportunity easily (Laudon and Laudon, 2012).
Organizational Structure [Add 100 words]
The business will deploy a Geographic Division Organizational Structure for its general operation and activities. The divisions will be separated by different regions where the organization will be operating, most especially in underserved areas. Each division will have several departments, including the upper management, which includes my office, which focus on making core decision for the organization. The middle management such as the operational/IT and production team, who will focus on providing guidance and sales trend based on information from the database and network systems. The lower management, who will focus on personnel, guiding and instructing workers in day-to-day activities and overseeing both the quality and quantity of the organization.
Job Roles and Responsibilities [Add 100 words]
The business's significant units will include the management unit, production unit, research and development unit, and product management and maintenance unit. The management unit will be the reporting center for all information regarding the entire operations and activities taking place in the business (Ragulina et al., 2015). The research and Development unit will focus on advancing operations and activities to remain competitive advantage in the industry. The production unit will involve the workforce who will be delivering the organization's products and services, and the product management and maintenance unit will be dealing with suppliers and maintaining equipment for consistent operations.
Roles and Responsibilities as they relate to the Mission Statement [Add 100 words]
The organization's mission is to deliver IT services and products, including education, to underserved regions. The management unit will design the plan and offer directives to the workforce to ensure that services and products offered are of high quality as anticipated. The research and development unit will look for potential destinations ideal for the business products and services. The production unit will focus on increasing performance for quality services production. The product management and maintenance unit will then ensure proper maintenance is achieved for operations and activities consistency.
