DRAFTING A BUSINESS CASE
Amazon Air, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc plans on establishing their primary hub at CVG airport in Hebron, KY.
Building over 3 million square-foot of sorting facility and parking space for 100 aircrafts over 1100 acres of land,
will cost over $1.5 billion. Amazon will be self-reliant for delivering their shipments and shorten the delivery time
for Prime shipping from 2 days to only 1 day, saving millions of dollars in logistic cost. This project will also create
around 2000 jobs at the airport and help the airport reduce their operating cost. Amazon is expecting to
begin operation in 2021.
Allegiant Stadium, in Las Vegas, will host concerts, sporting events, the Las Vegas Bowl, and serve as home of the
NFL Raiders and UNLV. Construction of the stadium began on November 13, 2017, and is expected to be completed
in July 2020. It is located on about 62 acres of land west of Mandalay Bay at Russell Road. The financing for the
project is expected to come in the form of $750 million in public funding and $1.1 billion from the Raiders.
The stadium project is expected to generate an economic benefit of $620 million annually while creating 6,000
permanent jobs. Levy will create and curate the food and beverage experience across the stadium’s concessions
and premium spaces.
