Interdisciplinary Plan Proposal
OVERALL COMMENTS
Hi Perla.
Thank you for your work on this assignment. I think you are off to a good start describing your objective of improving wait time in triage area, . I like that you provided predictions, however, your ideas are not supported with evidence from the literature to help illustrate your interdisciplinary plan related to improving outcomes. I made some recommendations on how some criteria might achieve a higher performance score. I look forward to reading more of your work. Please hihglight any/all revisions.

RUBRICS
CRITERIA 1
Describe an objective and predictions for an evidence-based interdisciplinary plan to achieve a specific goal related to improving patient or organizational outcomes.COMPETENCY
NON_PERFORMANCEDoes not describe an objective and predictions for an evidence-based interdisciplinary plan to achieve a specific goal related to improving patient or organizational outcomes.BASICIdentifies an objective for an evidence-based interdisciplinary plan but does not clearly explain how the objective will help achieve a specific goal related to improving patient or organizational outcomes.PROFICIENTDescribes an objective and predictions for an evidence-based interdisciplinary plan to achieve a specific goal related to improving patient or organizational outcomes.DISTINGUISHEDDescribes an objective and predictions for an evidence-based interdisciplinary plan to achieve a specific goal related to improving patient or organizational outcomes, including methods from the literature that may be used to determine success.
COMMENTS:
I like that you provided an objective (IDT collaboration is not an objective. It is the proposed goal/methid in this case). I did not find a full enough detailed description of possible predictions for your plan. I did not find enough citations of supporting evidence from the literature to support the plan and to see how it is related to improving outcomes. What does the literature say?
CRITERIA 2
Explain a change theory and a leadership strategy, supported by relevant evidence, that is most likely to help an interdisciplinary team succeed in collaborating and implementing, or creating buy-in for, the project plan.COMPETENCY
NON_PERFORMANCEDoes not explain a change theory and a leadership strategy, supported by relevant evidence, that is most likely to help an interdisciplinary team succeed in collaborating and implementing, or creating buy-in for, the project plan.BASICDescribes a change theory and a leadership strategy but the relevance to the success of interdisciplinary team in collaborating and implementing, or creating buy-in for, the project plan is not clearly explained and no evidence is provided.PROFICIENTExplains a change theory and a leadership strategy, supported by relevant evidence, that is most likely to help an interdisciplinary team succeed in collaborating and implementing, or creating buy-in for, the project plan.DISTINGUISHEDExplains a change theory and a leadership strategy, supported by relevant evidence, that is most likely to help an interdisciplinary team succeed in collaborating and implementing, or creating buy-in for, the project plan, providing real-world examples relevant to the health care organization that is the context for the plan.
COMMENTS:
I do not see any citations of supporting evidence from the literature for the plan that was provided. I did not see any discussioin of effective leaders. This brought decreased clarity to your reader. For a higher performance score, more details are needed about how you will help your interdisciplinary team create buy in for the plan. What does the literature say? Are there real-world examples you might share?
CRITERIA 3
Explain the collaboration needed by an interdisciplinary team to improve the likelihood of achieving the plan’s objective, including best practices of interdisciplinary collaboration from the literature.COMPETENCY
NON_PERFORMANCEDoes not explain the collaboration needed by an interdisciplinary team to improve the likelihood of achieving the plan’s objective. Does not cite best practices of interdisciplinary collaboration from the literature.BASICExplains collaboration but not in terms of an interdisciplinary team or does not include best practices from the literature.PROFICIENTExplains the collaboration needed by an interdisciplinary team to improve the likelihood of achieving the plan’s objective, including best practices of interdisciplinary collaboration from the literature.DISTINGUISHEDExplains the collaboration needed by an interdisciplinary team to improve the likelihood of achieving the plan’s objective, including best practices of interdisciplinary collaboration from the literature. Provides real-world examples relevant to the health care organization that is the context for the plan.
COMMENTS:
This section was unclear. I like that you explained collaboration, but I did not find a discussion of collaboration in terms of an interdisciplinary team. I also did not find a full enough discussion of best practices of interdisciplinary collaboration, supported by citations. This is needed for a higher performance score. What does the literature say? Are there real-world examples that you could share?
CRITERIA 4
Explain organizational resources, including a financial budget, needed for the plan to succeed and the impacts on those resources if nothing is done to make the improvements sought by the plan.COMPETENCY
NON_PERFORMANCEDoes not explain organizational resources, including a financial budget, needed for the plan to succeed and the impacts on those resources if nothing is done to make the improvements sought by the plan.BASICIdentifies organizational resources needed for the plan to succeed and the impacts on those resources if nothing is done to make the improvements sought by the plan. Does not include a financial budget.PROFICIENTExplains organizational resources, including a financial budget, needed for the plan to succeed and the impacts on those resources if nothing is done to make the improvements sought by the plan.DISTINGUISHEDExplains organizational resources, including a financial budget, needed for the plan to succeed and the impacts on those resources if nothing is done to make the improvements sought by the plan. Provides real-world examples relevant to the health care organization that is the context for the plan.
COMMENTS:
I like that you addressed a clear financial budget in your explanation of resources, and how this might be affected if the improvements you planned for, do not happen. I am glad you included ideas about a proposed expense. How did you arrive at this figure? For a distinguished score, are there some real-world examples either from your practice or from the literature that you could share?
CRITERIA 5
Organize content so ideas flow logically with smooth transitions; contains few errors in grammar/punctuation, word choice, and spelling.COMPETENCY

COMMENTS:
I like that your writing was logical. Much of your paper was unclear and hard to follow due to lack of transitional statements between paragraphs.
