Nice job on this assignment! You provided statistics for your population that provided a platform for your assessment and showed that there is a need for additional resources in this population. I like how you also provided information regarding factors that affect this community as well. Some areas for improvement include the following:

1. criterion #2 on the scoring guide includes an analysis of specific research articles and an exploration of the epidemiological concepts represented in the articles. Please see the annoucement I posted about this section for more clarity.

2. criterion #3- Distinguished in this section should include a thorough analysis of the principles and that influence health promotion and disease prevention  including  discussion of the ethical, legal economic and cultural factors.

3. criterion #4 should provide a through evaluation of the intiatives that are currently in place. This includes specifics of the who, what when, where, and how. Are the intiatives effective? Are they utilized?

4. criterion #5- This section should provide a thorough analysis of  evidence-based  recommendations. Evidence-based means that these are initiatives that are supported by research therefore this should have in-text citations indicating where you obtained these recommendations. This is more then just opinion about what should be done; you want to explore the evidence to see what has been proven to work.
