· Describe what you are examining both conceptually and operationally.

Conceptually: In the Middle East, there is a lot of news going about why does Saudi Arabia make a relationship with the USA? What are the benefits? How did that happen whereas it's been decades without a relationship between the two countries. The two countries have been at odds over the State of Israel as well as the Saudi-led oil export ban. Since the end of the Gulf War, the U.S.-Saudi relationship has been largely neglected. There were hates for the US from Middle East people. How did that suddenly happened?

Operationally: Saudi Arabia and the United States are two unexpected allies. One is autocratic and the other democratic

They share that each has what others need

· The Palestinian issue is the "top priority" of Saudi Arabia

· Will Congress stop US support for Saudi Arabia in the war in Yemen?

· Tensions between Saudi Arabia and the United States, especially with regard to the crisis in Syria

1- Why have you selected this topic?

I selected this topic because I am an international student from Middle East and Specifically from Saudi Arabia who wants to learn more about my country and Middle East.

2- What is the nature of your specific interest in examining this topic?

When I was a child, I heard a lot of news about the tensions between Middle east and USA? What are the influences or impact that USA did to Middle East?

1- What are the immediate or short term objectives for your research?

Justice system, economic, conflicts, and gulf war.

2- What are the long term goals for this research projects?

The US-Saudi relationship is under enormous stress

Is the relationship going to stop in the future?

1- How will you develop a plan or outline for conduction your research?

I will outline the issues that Saudi arabia disagreed with USA and changed the law in Middle East in terms of Iran, Iraq, Palistan, Syria and so on. Saudi Arabia had developed a lot of things in Middle East and still a lot of people blame her for many things.

2- What is your plan for gathering information or applicable data?

I will gather the information from Maryville website library, and I will also watch videos about the news happened before.

3- What method or type of analysis do you intend to utilize for you research?

There are many types of data analysis. Some of them are general and some are specific. For general I am going to utilize expletory and predictive and for specific I will utilize quantitative research.

1- Is the U.S.-Saudi Arabia's special relationship really based primarily on an oil arms for arrangement or is there something more to it?

2- How much influence does the United States have over Saudi Arabia's foreign policy?

3- How did the U.S. view Saudi Arabia before oil was a thing?

4- How did Saudi Arabia leads the Middle East with US support?

how will or how does your paper propose to contribute to the scholarly literature annd provide a better understanding of the broad topics of American foreign policy since ww2

There is no doubt that Saudi Arabia has a relationship with USA before WW2. King Abdulaziz sought to obtain international recognition for his country. Britain was the first country to recognize Saudi Arabia as an independent state. The British also protected Saudi Arabia from the Turks for several years. King Abdul Aziz also aspired to the United States recognition of his country, but at that time Americans were not interested. In Saudi Arabia, in the end, King Abdul Aziz's efforts were rejected by Washington, but they changed their position in the end after Saudi Arabia won the recognition of many countries. The United States officially recognized Saudi Arabia in May 1931. The true relationship started after discovering the Oil in Saudi Arabia 1933.
