Balanced Scorecard is a performance management tool, which is used extensively in business and industry, government, and nonprofit organizations worldwide to align business activities to the vision and strategy of the organization, improve internal and external communications, and monitor organization performance against strategic goals. It is a performance metric used in strategic planning to identify and improve various internal functions of a business and their resulting external outcomes. For the Signature Paper, you will choose a publicly-traded company to research and complete a Balanced Scorecard that will assess the organization's performance and effectiveness in the four main areas of the organization. Your analysis will be centered around the key concepts of organizational structure, the organization's strategy, external environment, success indicators, and organizational culture. You will submit an Outline in Week 9 and the Final Draft in Week 13. Your final submission should be 5-6 pages in length (double spaced 12-point Times New Roman font).
