Cultural diversity has been a significant issue of concern in family lives and also workplace experienced. For this part I will focus on my personal experience with my cousin who turned to be a lesbian, my family was reluctant to accept her being a members of the Southern Baptist church that deems same-sex marriage or lesbianism as an evil act that needs to be condemned with the strongest terms possible. She ended up being chased away from home and if you spoke to her that made you just as guilty. It was looked at you condoned her acts instead of loving the person. It took the family some deliberations to accept her back, although hesitant, she was eventually allowed back to family events without all the gossiping and she got married to her long term girlfriend, they are now happily married.
