Intro: Have you ever thought about a bad situation and instantly felt the need to knock on wood? Well, many people believe in these types of superstitions, and they are quite popular. There is a worldwide phenomenon. Superstitious beliefs have been passed down from generation to generation, and various countries have different beliefs in it. Some people take them lightly while others believe in them religiously. In fact, some people blame the troubles they face in life on superstitions. Superstition’s exist in different ways in different cultures. The outcomes of superstitious beliefs aren’t always known to cause positive behavior in our society. Being superstitious can affect people’s behavior and state of mind, which could be a great threat to our culture. Forgetting to wear your “lucky” bracelet on the day of your big exam can influence your performance. People believe in superstitions for many reasons and find different ways of support, regardless of whether it may be a threat to the larger culture.
