Central idea: Cristiano is an all-time best player and is well known for his skillful tactics in football.

A. Attention getter: Ronaldo is a Portuguese football player fully talented and skilled and recognized worldwide by both football and non-football fans.

B. Main thesis: his talent has left many people wondering the magic behind his skills and talents since he always leaves a mark in every game that he plays.

C. Establish credibility: he has put up world records in several games that he has played and has led many teams to achieve several trophies.

A. Ronaldo’s family and early life.

1. “Cristiano was born on February 5 1985 in Madeira Portugal”(Torres, 2017). He is the last in a family of four siblings born to Maria Dodores and Jose Dinis Aveiro.

2. His father succumbs to liver disease due to alcohol abuse while his mother, in 2007, struggles with breast cancer.

B. Ronaldo’s career.

1. He started his football career in 2001 when the Manchester United manager signed him following his outstanding performance in a match between Portugal and Manchester united.

a. He shows his talent while in Manchester united when he led them to win the FA Cup 2004(Cristiano Ronaldo - Team, Kids & Facts - Biography, n.d.).

b. He also won the FIFA World Player of the year honor in 2008.

2. Ronaldo transfers from Manchester United after Real Madrid signed him in 2009.

a. He believes that signing to Real Madrid will give him a new challenge.

b. He sets up impressive records in Madrid as the club’s top scorer.

3. In 2018 Ronaldo signed a contract with Juventus and won his first trophy with the team in January 2019.

4. He also took over the captainship of the Portugal national team and played to fight for their trophy.
