As the fight against COVID-19 endures many of the needed resources have been taken away from where needed.
Immunization is one of the most powerful and fundamental disease presentation tools in the history of public health – Said Doctor Tedros Adhanom the director of general of the W.H.O.
As months and months continue to pass by and COVID continues to run wild and not a single hope of its containment in sight, many of the regular everyday lives of people have been changed. Such as immunization in 3rd world countries as well as poor countries have had to stop current immunization routines risking the possibilities of many currently eradicated viruses and diseases making a comeback.
The main idea of this speech is that if we continue on the current path, we will might not be able to stop the rise of otherwise eradicated viruses and diseases.
Measles is flaring around the globe, including in Bangladesh, Brazil, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Nigeria and Uzbekistan.
According to the measles and rubella initiative, 178 million people are at risk of missing measles shots in 2020.
A mutated strain of poliovirus has been reported in more than 30 countries.
Measles is flaring around the globe.
