·At first, using a hook to attract audience to open the topic “What makes human life matter”.
·Simply summarizing the information, background and main ideas of reading source that I want to talk about. (Genesis and Daodejing).
·Thesis: In my opinion, the limited lifetime, love and eudemonia play important roles to make human life matter. As long as we have positive and correct understanding of these three things, our life will be better.
II. Body paragraph:
·a. Topic sentence: Time cannot add to one's life but cherishing and making good use of time can make life more valuable. Therefore, limited lifetime can let human realize the importance of purpose or meaning to live in the world. In this way, people can really develop themselves to make their life matter.
·For this point, mention the idea in Daodejing: Here you can use some outside source about Daodejing or the idea in Daodejing to support argument. Such like, Allowing to be order by nature, obey the rules of nature.
·b. Topic sentence: Love plays an important role to make human life matter. Because, I think love is the reason and courage for human existence. Love embraces and accept everything, it warms the world, melt sin, give faith and courage to people.
·For this point , mention God’s love for human being and love between Adam and Eve in the Genesis. Using some source about genesis to express and explain the love by god.
·c. Topic sentence: Every kind of eudemonia has its value. There is neither more noble happiness nor more humble happiness. Only really exploring the happiness that you want will make our life matter and meaningful.
