I.    Introduction

The current state of technology continues to make parenting one of the most complex tasks in the world. The advancements in technology have taken a new era of a generation that is far exposed to different challenges posted by the technological gadgets that are being used in the day to day life. Television continues to become a tool that is hard to separate children from its use.

Television is one of the most popular electronics that every family owns in many areas of the world. It becomes hard to control the way children engage in watching television in the day to day life in the community.

The consistent use of television by children exposes them too many negative implications may not be accessible to note in the short run but recognizable in the long term. Different negative consequences are evident in the life of children who are victims of watching television.

II.    Body

Excessive watching of television in children exposes them to the danger of addiction. It becomes hard for the children to control their urge to watch TV. An example is children will develop a hypersensitivity to specific programs in the day to day life on the TV.

The children who watch TV over an extended period will lose concentration in the things that matter most in life. An example is the lack of attention in academics.

 The television will transform a child in the way they think and react like some of the programs will be absorbed in their mind in a way that it will be hard to know how to control themselves. An example is poor sleeping habits.

III.    Conclusion

The excessive watching of television has devastating effects on the brain orientation of children. They will lack concentration and be poor performers in many simple tasks.
