Program Evaluation Proposal

Outline

Identify program:

The program that I intend to evaluate is Financial Literacy for High School Students. The program covers budgeting, saving and investing credit and debt, and much more (Cescon, 2022). The program is delivered through classroom instruction and online learning, and students can put what they have learned into practice through real-world scenarios.

Identify the population served by the educational program:

The population served by this educational program are high school students, as they are typically the age group that is most likely to be financially irresponsible. It also teaches students about the different financial products and services available.

Identify stakeholders responsible for the program:

The stakeholders responsible for this program are the high school students, the parents, the financial institutions, the state department of education, and the federal government (Cescon, 2022).

Identify assessments currently used to evaluate the program:

The assessment tools currently used to evaluate this program are surveys and interviews. The surveys help to identify how well participants receive the program and what areas need improvement. Interviews provide more in-depth insights into how well the program functions and allow for more retrospective analysis.

Identify current concerns, if any that may impact the program's viability:

The current concerns that may impact the program's viability are the lack of funding and awareness (Rose, 2021). The lack of funding means that the program may not be able to continue running for much longer, and the lack of awareness means that people may not know about the program and, therefore, may not be able to take advantage of it.
