I was also really impressed by the organizations that are involved in this new movement! They really understand that this shift is going to be a challenge for some people to understand and implement in their own shelters, but they have created so many resources and are being very transparent about the whole initiative. I think this will help the effectiveness of this program long term.

I really like that you said awareness is crucial. I know we talk about it in most of the discussions but I really do think that education and transparency will the community is such a pivotal part of any change, especially one of this magnitude.
