Hi Orlando,
Gray Wolf
Wildlife is a term used to refer to undomesticated animal species. Still, it has expanded to encompass all creatures that develop or survive in the wild without being adopted by people. In all habitats, wildlife may be found as they play a critical to maintaining environmental balance. Various natural processes are sustained thanks to wildlife. For emotional and sociological purposes, wildlife and nature have been closely connected with people. We are also a part of the species that helps to maintain the planet's natural balance. As with the law of nature, it is critical to note that some animal species are more endangered than others either due to their economic values or other factors supported by nature (Pyšek, Petr, et al.). You need to include a signal phrase that shows where this information begins. Usually people include the author’s name in the signal phrase and the article title at the end in parenthesis. An endangered species is a living creature that is on the verge of extinction. Species become endangered due to several factors, for example, habitat degradation and genetic variety decline. Use more common language to describe the factors for the diminished animal population. What is habitat degradation or genetic variety decline? The wolf is a big canine indigenous to North and South America. It is sometimes known as the gray wolf or grey wolf. There are more than thirty subspecies of Canis lupus and gray wolves, as they are often known. They are also regarded as non-domestic/wild subspecies. In recent times there have been debates on whether the gray wolf should be classified as endangered species in the country or not. Both parties have substantial evidence and arguments to support their claims begging the question, who among these groups have the correct argument? For example, those of us who argue that the gray wolf should be classified as an endangered animal present the following arguments. You need a stated revision that asserts what side your paper is arguing. Are you in favor of keeping the wolf on the endangered species list or should they be taken off this list?
If you are opposing this topic, the wolf should be on the endangered species list, then it makes sense that the first body paragraph presents a reason to show why they should be left on the list. However, if you are in favor of keeping them on the list, then your first body paragraph should be explaining an opposing point. The first reason why the gray wolf should be classified as an endangered species is that the gray wolf population now only inhabits roughly 10% of its last habitat in the entire 48 states. The 5,000-6,000 gray wolves that roam the lower 48 states are a small proportion of the tens of thousands of wolves that formerly traversed this continent. The gray wolf's ancient territory spanned approximately two-thirds of the United States. Gray wolves can now only be spotted in, western Montana northern Michigan, northeast Oregon, northern Wisconsin, Alaska, northern Idaho, and Wyoming's Yellowstone National Park, which is only around 10% of their former range. I’m pretty sure they are in Northern MN too. Gray wolves must be offered the opportunity to recolonize their remaining appropriate habitats to achieve a realistic and scientifically credible degree of survival. The only way to afford this critical time for the endangered species is though classifying them as an endangered animals. The source of this information needs to be included in a citation with a signal phrase and some identifying information in parenthesis at the end. You should write your own topic and concluding statements. Those should not be citations. Use more common language to paraphrase the ideas.
Secondly, The Endangered Species Act was revised in 1982 to include a clause that permits the Fisheries and Wildlife Service to rescue animals from their natural habitats and shift them to believe that they will breed there. Please reword the previous sentence. How was the Act revised? What is the significance? Your topic sentence needs to introduce how this information is showing a point in favor or against listing the wolf as endangered. This process saw the inception and classification of such animals as experimental populations or the reintroduced populations. This act allowed the gray wolf to procreate and increase in number. However, a clause was fixed that allowed farmers or other groups of people to kill or injure a wolf that endangered their lives or their animals. The paragraph is confusing in terms of which clause to the Act it’s describing. It starts out seeming to be a clause that would help the wolf population, but then the rest of the paragraph talks about extermination practices. To say the least, throughout the time that the rule was in action, it is the only time that the gray would have multiplied. However, Wolves, which are no longer protected under the ESA, have been savagely as well as legitimately trapped in primitive steel-jaw leghold snares. Wyoming has gone even further in allowing people to run wolves over with snowmobiles and Pickup trucks, intoxicate or poison them, burn them in their dens with petrol or gunpowder, and hunt them down from aircraft. Such actions continue to spell doom for the creature and, without the government's protection through the lack of appropriate policies, continue to rapidly see the increase in the killing f the gray wolves and will soon wipe them out of the planet.
Another reason why the gray wolf should be classified as endangered is that Even in Minnesota, long-term land utilization patterns imply that most of the present or possible wolf territories will continue to be cultivated, rendering it unfavorable for wolf’s inhabitation. The stripping of the ESA protection from the wolves means that the species will be de-classified as endangered, meaning that the protected wolf territories and corridors will also be less likely to be protected. This will lead to a clash in the interests between humans' need for land capital and the wolf's needs for habitats. Eventually, man will win the conflict at the expense of the gray wolf's continued existence.
On the other hand, those who argue that the gray wolf should not be protected as an endangered animal allege the following reasons. To begin with, the cost of protecting the animals is too costly, whereas the money could be spent on other important aspects. Gray wolf inclusion on the Endangered Species List prevents public gray wolf harvesting, costing the federal government monitoring system over $200,000 every year to control gray wolves and the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, spending over $75,000 per year compensating landowners for declared wolf destruction to farmed animals. Gray wolves might well be lawfully killed and caged, which could help save money on both ends. The other reason why the gray would not be classified as endangered was Even when all gray wolves were to be wiped out in the 48 states of America, Canada, Alaska, and a few other countries with healthy populations.
To conclude, through the discussion, it is apparent that there are clear and comprehensive arguments from both sides concerning whether or not the gray wolf should be classified as an endangered species or not. However, leaders and individuals must be able to make clear cut decisions that have been holistically examined with the interest of the gray wolf taken into consideration to as to enables individuals to make scientifically backed up decisions as well as a human decision that should ensure and enrich the continued existence of this precious animal.
