Framework

Rosemarie Parse’s theoretical framework is based on the human-universe-health process that teaches concern for concretion in the nursing discipline. The framework underpins three assumptions that include meaning, rhythmicity, and transcendence. 'Meaning' specifies that the ongoing construct of reality assigns significance to individual choices and valued images of co-creation (Parse, 2015). 'Rhythmicity' stipulates the emergence of cadence and paradoxical ways of revealing-concealing with the universe. Finally, 'transcendence' shows that human becoming is beyond intended hopes and dreams of pushing-resisting some new ways. The theorist states that human becoming is freely choosing through personal meaning and the interchanging dimension of the universe (Parse, 2015). As a result, ambiguous motives, such as sexual harassment, affect the possibility of individuals to evolve mutually within the environment by failing to choose meaning in situations. Sexually abused individuals are unable to convey meaning to personal values and have fading dreams and hopes.

This theory identifies the humans experience and human reaction. How does it relate to depression and anxiety and sexual assault in our study and how to use it for our purposes for this study.
