Response to question 1; Artificial intelligence (AI), commonly referred to as mechanical intelligence, that is the branch of computer science which aims to provide machines

with the ability to understand the environment using pre-programmed instructions and search algorithms, or patterns that define machine learning algorithm, again and make judgments based on those findings. In such a way, AI aspires to emulate biological intelligence to enable software programs or machines to act with varying degrees of autonomy, decreasing any need for manual human interaction in a variety of tasks. While AI regularly conjures up images of science literature's intelligent machine manager, the fact is

very different. At its heart, AI employs the same basic algorithmic operations as traditional programs, albeit differently (Abhee, 2020). A traditional inventory management frame- work, for instance, would reveal the current amounts of different products. Simultaneously, a more advanced model would identify shortages, determine the source and its

effect on the overall supply chain instead, and take steps to address themselves. Artificial intelligence may be used to replace the whole framework, make all decisions from start to finish, or it can be used to enhance a specific method.
