3 Lastly, involving upper management can lead to an unexpected disappointment Since it may fail to meet the security conditions for the business, its clients, and

other business partners. Therefore, it could be a trade-off when the management receives compensations from the customers but perhaps fails to create safe

solutions focusing on the verified security architectures, which may attract security susceptibilities (Sas & Avgeriou, 2019). 5 Standard Solutions to Increase

Efficiency and Maintain Delivery Teams Velocity

3 Ways to Increase Efficiency and Maintain Delivery Teams Regarding the computer science domain, certain activities seek to assis t in increasing efficiency and

maintaining the delivery teams' velocity. 3 For instance, standardization, capturing, patterns applications, and standard solutions are some of the aspects to help

in achieving such a motive. Notably, several real-world instances seek to illustrate and assess how the ideas provide the velocity they enhance the delivery teams'

velocity critically. 3 Firstly, a design pattern denotes any overall recurring solution to a regularly occurring hitch in software design. The patte rn is an incomplete

design that can be changed into a code. Moreover, it is a template that guides on how to resolve a hitch. Real Time Examples A real example of how applying patterns

can promote efficiency and uphold the velocity is the fact that the patterns can permit the teams to communicate and interact better. One example in the real time is

using confluence agile tool for communicating among teams, working as a developer involves UX designers, backend developers to communicate effectively about the

requirements and project progress in one page and document everything for future reference. Effective co mmunication among the team made our deliverables

within time and with efficiency. It should be known that standardization is also an imperative idea with regards to the provisi on of velocity. 3 It is a programming

phenomenon that entails the general practice that focuses on the creation, promotion, and maybe authorization of compatible, standardized technologies as well as

processes within a particular business. Based on the standardization idea, a real-world example is when the idea seeks to increase efficiency and velocity by allowing

businesses to take up standardized tactics in their ventures or day to day activities (Pulici, 2017). With reference to issue s concerning computing, the capturing idea

denotes finding information and placing it on any storage tool for easy retrieval and future reference. An actual example entails cutting or copying a highlighted text.

3 There is capturing the text and placing it in the clipboard, which allows the user to paste the specific text somewhere else. Schoenf eld’s Approach to Successful

Security Architecture Indicators supporting high utilization of the security architecture team, operational security obligati ons that facilitate the innovation process,

extensive support within the firm, and recruitment or train ing of security architects with the appropriate form of interest and aptitude are some of Schoenfield's

components that guarantee a successful security architecture practice. Firstly, some indicators openly show that the security team is well utilized. For instance, when

the team gets all the necessities they need; hence, performing as expected (Dig8ital, 2017). Also, another indicator can be w hen the team assists an information

technology department to control business risks consistently by leveraging a bus iness's best practices and permitting the department to reach excellent and better

decisions. Secondly, policies, procedures, standards, regulations, and laws make up the operational security requirements tha t, in turn, add up to the innovation

4 Business Tradeoffs Between Rigorous Security and Delivering Products

Business Tradeoffs Business trade-offs can be described as scenarios or a situational-based decision in which case a business must sacrifice losing either a given

quality, quantity, or property with the aim of get ting more other benefits from other aspects of the business. Regarding the questions presented, there exist several

business trade-offs between security and delivery of products to customers. Many of the existing business entities, companies, and organizati ons have adopted a

security-first culture in the attempt of laying out the best business framework that facilitates a quick, effective, and efficient way of delivering products to their

esteemed customers or clients. Above all other business factors, organizati ons and business companies must consider establishing and instilling trust among their

client through the provision and prioritization of security with regards to the delivery of products to said customers. 6 Security Adoption and Product Delivery

Worth mentioning is that it is equally essential for the management of any business organization to understand the existing disparities between checking the boxes of

their security requirement such as compliance and truly making their clients' welfare a top priority. Companies and organizations should ensure that they strictly

uphold and maintain security and privacy regulations with reference to the delivery of goods, products, and services to their clients as may be dictated by the existing

policies. Failure to comply with the security policies and the requirements as expected will lead to distortion of their reputation and may lead to great losses of

revenues and perhaps loss of clients. It is also good to note that for organizations and companies to maintain client loyalty and satisfaction, there is a great need for

the organization to trade off product delivery with security, and this will be only possible if the said companies will consider choosi ng to maintain both efficiencies of

product delivery and security levels. 6 When companies witness an influx of order volumes, they a lso experience drive-in economies of scale, an incidence that

usually results in a significant increase in efficiency (Boyer, 2020). Another crucial trade -off in business based on the security and product delivery is picking and

replenishing, which is often not recognized as it requires a delicate balance and may be expensive and time-consuming in the long run. Imperatively, businesses often

engage in trade-off product delivery with security by creating a security culture within the organization to make it their business distinctively unique from any other

organization (Boyer, 2020). 6 Many essentials do these organizations do this because brand loyalty has become an asset. Statistics on economics have found most

people will not purchase products or services offered by a company that they are not loyal to; therefore, this prompts organiz ations to trade-off product delivery for

security since it will act as one of their brands' strategic framework. Tradeoffs B/W Rigorous Security and Delivering Product s The last trade-off in the business

between rigorous security and product delivery to custom ers is the adoption of a customer-first approach, which has been found to have positive impacts on the

bottom line of business objectives as well as projected targets (Sas & Avgeriou, 2019). By understanding the best ways to add ress the security concerns of clients and

customers, organizations will be able to retain and maintain customer's loyalty and perhaps increase their productivity altog ether. 3 It is good to mention that

there may be a great negative impact with regard to the inclusion of the upper ma nagement in promoting successful security architecture and excellent service

delivery to the customers and clients at large. Good to note is that when establishing the maintenance of a business's extens ive information security management

plan, which will f ocus on the provision of adequate protection of information assets, a trade-off can happen more so when the responsibility for locating, evaluating,

assessing as well as reporting about risks on information security arises (Sas & Avgeriou, 2019). In most ca ses, the management has been found to be ill-prepared due

to a lack of specialized skills in business information security technologies that can promote the required conformity to the obligations.

process. The frameworks act as guidance in practice. An example of a policy is the document that has outlined objectives and goals that necessitate compliance

(Dig8ital, 2017)). Thirdly, support across the firm is another crucial component. The sup port can arise in various forms. For example, extensive support can be a reality

by controlling access to information technology and business assets. Finally, recruiting and training the staff, especially th e security architects, is a better component.

As a firm transforms and security risks are learned, the architects' training becomes vital to help curb the associated risks. In general, all the components play a critical

role in ensuring an effective security architecture practice. 6 Perhaps standardization helps to increase the team's efficiency and maintain the velocity of the

delivery team. Standardization can best be described as a framework of agreements made between companies' management and empl oyees' teams to ensure that

every process is executed based on the set guidelines and expectations (Anderson, 2018). 6 An established social media like Facebook company that owns

different websites or applications like WhatsApp and Instagram that are used by millions of individuals is an example of how s tandardization contributes to team

velocity and integrating all of them to work as one like integrating and standardizing their procedures for easy collaboration of users among different applications.
