Article Review on Classification Techniques

Results of the Study

This study aimed to further explain opinion mining and sentiment analysis together with its methods. The research was in-depth research on opinion mining. The

authors discovered that there are open problems in opinion mining and sentiment analysis. They state that some of the most critical open problems in various senti- ment analysis aspects are that opinion mining can assist in identifying and taking out profound and useful knowledge resources through the use of concept-level sen- timent (Fatemeh Hemmatian, 2019). They as well discovered that the propensity of the convolution neural network technique is very high in the new research.

The researchers have found out that the supervised techniques have been an appropriate model in categorizing the comments and it has high validity and accuracy although due to depending on training documents that are tagged, they look for an expensive and very slow trend. The authors also, discovered that the studies re- garding semi-supervised methods are increasing, and taking into account micro-blogs popularity like Twitter, these methods are very effective choices for micro-blogs. It has also been noted in the research that the popularity of Lexicon-based and clustering techniques has taken a growing trend among researchers. It is also noted that the cost of the supervised learning approach is high for different rationale and as well as slow efficiency. The authors found out that the Lexicon-based technique does not demand the involvement of humans, and that their accuracy is limited, and they have a very fast efficiency. They also, discovered that the clustering method has quantitative and qualitative effectiveness and robustness. The technique of extraction based on the relation between opinion aspects and words was found to be significantly better than the existing techniques. Definition of opinion mining

The authors of this study provide two definitions of opinion mining where they state that there are two main explanations of opinion mining. In the article, the

authors define opinion mining as a new subfield of NLP, text mining, and retrieval of information. Then they provide the first definition of opinion mining as the auto- matic processing of documents to determine the opinion conveyed in that, as a unitary body of the study. The other explanation is that opinion mining is taking out the opinion of the people from the web. It examines the opinions of the people, attitude, appraisals, and emotions toward a company, a person, an entity, actions, is- sues, topics, and their attributes (Gurkamalpreet Kaur, 2017). It is a process utilized for the automatic retrieval of knowledge from the reviews of individuals on some specific problem, topic, or product. The article expresses that opinion mining has been presented as a powerful method of recognizing the knowledge through the comments expressed, explicitly in the web context. Concepts and techniques of opinion mining Opinion mining is a way to natural language processing (NPL), recog- nizing the emotional tone behind a body text. The survey gives some concepts of opinion mining where they state that opinion mining is utilized in evaluating the opinions that are provided by customers in the form of a comment, reviews and is helpful for distinguishing various competing companies. the research also discusses different techniques of opinion mining which they state as being, unsupervised learning also known as Lexicon-based technique. This technique is a classic method for opinion mining to categorize the lexicons into negative, positive, and neutral words. The other technique that is discussed in this study is the supervised method which is mostly discussed as a machine learning method. The authors state that machine learning techniques are used to categorize sentiments. Transforming an orga-

nization to the NLP framework is essential to the company since it will assist the computers in communicating with humans in their language and scales other tasks related to language. When a company has the help of NPL, they can gain insights on their customers much better to enhance their experience, which will assist the business change their market position.
