Mastering Blockchains

Blockchain refers to the technical management of data, and the decentralization of transactions usually developed for analyzing Bitcoins. Mastering Bitcoins is a

broad field of potential research areas since it provides enormous ideas on the security and the variability of data within any given organization that engages in transactions. Research into mastering blockchains is also as a result of the advancement of technology in various parts of the world. Research in blockchains done aimed at improving the many limitations of blockchains (Bashir,2017). Currency transactions are done through the transfer of currencies, which requires the presence of not only a credit card but also a bank to complete the transaction. Cash transactions between individuals are usually centralized. Valid operations are typically carried out by the bank, imposing some transaction fees onto its customers. Imposing a transaction fee to its customers also applies to several other fields, such as software and music. Systems of transactions centralized; hence blockchains have been improved to help in their decentralization (Bashir,2017). Blockchain is a type of database solution containing records of data that are usually confirmed by nodes associated with it. The public ledger is where the information on every transaction recorded. Data on every information on blockchains are available in all nodes for productive sharing. The availability of data on all nodes makes the system of blockchains transparent in its operations. The nodes in blockchains are usually unique, making it easy for specified nodes to perform transactions (Bashir,2017). Bitcoin was the first method of a cash transaction that used the technology of blockchains. Bitcoins decentralized the idea of trading using digital money. However, the blockchain also experiences some challenges technically that need to be addressed. Blockchains are also prone to attacks. There is a possibility of about 51% attack to the business entity hence interfering with other transaction networks. Insecurity is a major research topic that needs to investigated (Rajsbaum,2019). Blockchain is essential in ensuring proper cash transactions in the day to day life despite the several challenges it has. Versioning in blockchains is whereby chains have a smaller number of nodes hence the reason for the insecurity of the blockchains. The integrity of data in blockchains and their vulnerability are some of the broad areas in blockchains that need to research to come up with a favourable ultimatum for managing blockchains (Rajsbaum,2019). Methods used in researching and mastering blockchains include systematic mapping. Systematic studying conducted to get a better understanding of the study area. The research study helps in identifying areas related to blockchain technology and the possible gaps to be researched. The first step in systematic mapping is to define the goal of the research, which may include the various applications that might develop in the technology of blockchains and the several research questions (Bashir,2017). Screening of actual relevant papers: Selection of practical articles made basing on Dybaands procedure. After having the required research protocol, the detection of the documents

takes place. For example, materials that contain various meanings of the advancement in blockchain technology stored safely. Papers that got convincing titles with irrelevant content are passed to the next phase for proper analysis before deciding on whether to use the—documents with different meanings from that of blockchains excluded (Yli-Huumo,2016). Keywording is the next step after screening for relevant papers. Keywording is done in two steps by the use of Petersen et al. procedures. First and foremost, reading the abstract and identifying various keywords is done—secondly, an advanced level of trying to understand the

keywords done. Keywords mainly used in clustering the mapping of the studies. The extraction of data done to enable collect information on the relevant research questions (Bashir,2017). The collection of data is, therefore, followed by classifying relevant papers that would be relevant for the research, such as papers on the application of blockchains. Improvement of the blockchain is after that done based on the research findings from documents that have solutions to the technology of blockchains. Papers related to bitcoins examined since it is the most used method in blockchain technology since bitcoin uses blockchain technology (Bashir,2017). In conclusion, blockchains have decentralized transactions hence running the bitcoin currency. Sales recorded in ledgers for easy access by all individuals.
